The Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) course is a Scrum course about product ownership and management.  A Professional Scrum Product Owner is a role within the Scrum framework responsible for maximising the value delivered by the product development team. The PSPO also works closely with Stakeholders, customers, and the development team to understand their needs and effectively prioritise the Product Backlog.

They are responsible for:

🚀 Defining and communicating the Product Vision.

🚀 Creating and refining user stories.

🚀 Ensuring a clear understanding of the product requirements.

🚀 Participating in Sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.

🚀 Ensuring the product meets expectations.

🚀 Aiming for continual improvement.

Their main goal is to create value for the customers and Stakeholders by delivering a high-quality product that meets their needs and satisfies the product vision.

If you decide to enrol into the PSPO course, you will learn what Scrum is, the role of product ownership and management. You will also learn about the difference between a Product Owner and a Product Manager, and how we work in complex environments.

And if you are not actually sure where you are going or want to be, that’s alright. You will be able to start at the most basic level and even learn about some non-scrum related areas of product management, including some tips and tricks that will help you on your journey to success.

Pragmatic Shift is a Scrum Training, Agile Consulting, and Agile Coaching consultancy that specialises in delivering Scrum.Org certified scrum courses, and helping organisations increase their business agility and product development success through agile consulting and coaching.

We firmly believe that a shift to agile is a pragmatic shift. A natural evolution from traditional project management and product management. A proven, reliable, and resilient framework for addressing compelling problems and developing complex solutions.

Over a decade’s worth of experience as an agile practitioner, agile consultant, agile coach, and scrum trainer informs our pragmatic approach to change. Agile dogma has no value in the context of product development or organisational change.

Instead, we look to start where you are, work with what you have, and make meaningful interventions that align with the objectives you are trying to achieve.

Progress over perfection.
